Readers reviews ofTrading In A Nutshell By S McPhee
This books succeeds in what it title suggests. It is a short introduction to trading. It provides a brief overview of a variety of trading and charting indicators. This is essentially a brief overview. It covers all the expected areas, including the relevant calculations for entry and exit decisions, along with a brief discussion of risk management.
For those who are interested in the idea of trading and are not too sure what it is about, this book provides a short guide into what is a complex and exciting topic. The guide is not well signposted, and readers will find surprisingly few references to other books if they wish to follow up on particular ideas, approaches, subjects or indicators.
This is a nutshell book and it does this job quite well. In some way it reflects the authors military background, as it is written as a field guide for ready reference when action looms.
